You are not the consultant who fills in a request. You are the one the client turns to when things get complicated.

The challenge

As a Senior MSP Consultant at Hero in Schiphol, you are the specialist who takes the complexity of flexible hiring off the hands of major clients. You know the MSP landscape inside and out. You understand how hiring processes work, what goes wrong when proper governance is missing, and how to add value as a true extension of the client, going well beyond simply filling a vacancy.

Hero places over 2,000 interim professionals with leading clients across the Netherlands. The MSP division, Hero's fastest-growing department, is based at Schiphol. Clients here operate with high volumes, tight SLAs and complex supplier structures. You navigate all of this with ease and serve as the go-to content expert for both clients and colleagues.

Hero grows by 30 to 40 percent annually. The Senior MSP Consultant is one of the key roles driving that growth: you ensure existing clients achieve their goals and that Hero lives up to its reputation as the best MSP partner in the market.

What will you do?
  • End-to-end responsibility for the complete hiring process at one or more major clients
  • Acting as a trusted sparring partner for hiring managers and clients on hiring policy and process optimisation
  • Negotiating rates and hiring terms with suppliers and independent professionals
  • Evaluating candidates on substance and presenting them to the client with conviction
  • Translating market intelligence into concrete recommendations for the client
  • Safeguarding quality across the entire chain: from request to offboarding
  • Mentoring and developing junior colleagues in the profession
Who are you?
  • HBO working and thinking level
  • At least 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in MSP, recruitment or workforce management
  • Comfortable working in complex, process-driven environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, both internally and with clients and suppliers
  • Proactive and analytical, with the ability to spot trends and risks before they become a problem
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch; English is a plus
  • Available full-time (40 hours): 3 days per week at our Schiphol office and 2 days on-site at the client in the Schiphol region
What can you expect from Hero?

At Hero you get the room to grow, develop and enjoy your work. Here's what you can expect from us:
