Working through Hero means the right assignments, fair agreements and personal contact. We work with clients in the public sector, healthcare, finance, IT and engineering. Assignments range from a few months to several years.

Which contract types can I use at Hero?

Three options: as a freelancer with a service agreement, via opting-in or via secondment. Together we'll look at which contract type best suits your situation.

How quickly does Hero respond to my application or CV?

You'll receive a response from Hero within 24 hours on business days. Is there a match? Then we'll immediately schedule an introductory meeting.

In which fields does Hero mediate?

From ICT and finance to engineering, healthcare and government: Hero connects professionals with a wide variety of assignments at both public and private organisations. Together we'll look at which challenge best fits your experience and ambitions.

Working through Hero as a freelancer: how does that work?

We assess every assignment against the DBA Act. Based on that, we advise on the right contract type, so you can get to work worry-free and everything is properly arranged legally.

Can I also have a no-obligation introductory meeting?

Absolutely. A first conversation is always without obligation. We'd love to get to know you, think along about your ambitions and show you which assignments are available. Only when there's a match that really fits, do we take the next step together.

How is my rate determined?

From the very first conversation we are transparent about the rate and the conditions. The rate depends on the assignment, your experience and the chosen contract type. That way you know exactly what to expect in advance.

What if an assignment turns out not to suit me?

Does an assignment not meet your expectations after all? Then we'll have a conversation. Together we'll look for a solution or an assignment that suits you better. Because a good match is more important to us than a quick placement.
