What contract types can I work under at Hero?

Three options: as a freelancer with a service agreement, through opting-in, or via secondment. Together we'll look at which contract type best fits your situation.

How quickly does Hero respond to my application or CV?

You'll hear back from Hero within 24 hours on working days. If there's a match, we'll schedule an introductory meeting right away.

Working through Hero as a freelancer: how does that work?

We assess every assignment against the Dutch DBA Act. Based on that, we advise on the right contract type, so you can get to work with peace of mind knowing everything is legally in order.

Can I have an introductory chat with no obligations?

Absolutely. A first conversation is always without obligation. We'd love to get to know you, discuss your ambitions and show you which assignments are currently open. Only when there's a match that truly fits do we take the next step together.

How is my rate determined?

We're transparent about rates and terms from the very first conversation. Your rate depends on the assignment, your experience and the chosen contract type. That way you know exactly where you stand from the start.

What if an assignment turns out not to be the right fit?

If an assignment doesn't meet your expectations after all, we'll talk it through. Together we'll find a solution or an assignment that suits you better. Because a good match matters more to us than a quick placement.
