Fully responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Hoorn branch!
The challenge
In the historic centre of Hoorn, you will find one of the branches where Hero has been building hard since January 2023. We are growing fast, we are ambitious, and we are on the verge of a new phase with a leadership transition. As Business Manager, you play a key role in this. You ensure that operations run smoothly, that the culture remains tangible, and that teams can perform at their best in an environment that is constantly evolving.
As Business Manager at Hero, you bear ultimate responsibility for keeping daily operations running smoothly and powerfully. You are the connecting force between people, processes, and commercial ambitions. From today's incident to long-term structural improvements: you maintain overview and bring calm to an environment where pace is the standard.
Hero is growing fast. That calls for a leader who introduces structure without draining the energy from the team. Someone who understands that quality, culture, and commercial strength reinforce one another. You constantly ask yourself: how do we ensure this team performs at its best, today and six months from now?
You work closely with the Director of Hero Hoorn and serve as their right hand in translating vision and strategy into concrete action. You know what is happening within the team, sense where course corrections are needed, and are not afraid to make decisions. Not as a controller, but as a leader. You are a culture carrier and uphold the Hero values with conviction.
We draw inspiration from the ideas of Patrick Lencioni. Trust, openness, commitment, and shared accountability form the foundation of how we work together. Reading his books, engaging in deeper conversations, and applying these principles in practice is an integral part of this role.
Success in this position is reflected in a strong culture, a well-organised operation, engaged colleagues, and a branch that is ready for the next phase of accelerated growth.
