Especially in these times, when there still seems to be very little entertainment possible, we find our challenge in organising events that can. A good example is the Hero wine tasting that took place last week, under the guidance of top sommelier Koen van der Plas.

Only organisations that achieve the required, high score are allowed to immediately carry the ‘Certified’ title. It was recently announced that Hero achieved that score, which means we are now officially Great Place To Work certified.

By now, we have found our niche with regard to working from home; we have the home office in order, know how to adjust to all constraints and meet online as if it was never different. We'd like to talk to you briefly about the latter - online meetings.

Last week was a very memorable one for Hero, and certainly for myself. In fact, for the first time, an employee celebrated 12.5 years of service. And not just any employee, but my blood mother!

What do you do for our clients? I am a confidant for our clients and am mainly concerned with providing the perfect match; anticipating the client's demand as well as possible. I am the first contact for the client and answer their wishes and questions with the best-suited professional.

If it doesn't go the way it should, then so be it. I said this a lot to myself as a self-proclaimed opponent of working from home, when we took measure after measure to facilitate working from home precisely.

Again this year, Hero is among the fastest growing companies in the Netherlands.

Ensuring that the Hero sales team grows quickly and qualitatively, with the right guidance. We are running very well at the moment, so by January 2021, we want new colleagues to start so that we can serve even more customers qualitatively.
