As a Bid Management Trainee, you will be contributing from day one in this winning environment. You will learn how tenders work, how to develop a winning strategy and how to convince clients with distinctive submissions. Along the way, you will work daily alongside experienced bid managers who will guide you through the profession, while you are given the space to develop quickly.

You will take on real responsibility, learn fast and discover how to organise complex processes, gather information from colleagues and develop plans that truly make the difference.

• You guide the full tender process and learn how to maintain control over deadlines, even when multiple processes are running simultaneously
• You learn to identify opportunities, qualify them and assess their feasibility and potential
• You discover how to effectively engage and manage stakeholders, both internally and externally, within a tender process
• You contribute to the win strategy and learn how to make a submission substantively strong and distinctive
• You take care of requests for information, supporting documents and other formalities, becoming familiar with the formal side of tendering
• You learn how pricing works and how to collaborate towards a competitive submission
• You organise evaluations after each process and learn how to turn won and lost submissions into concrete improvements
• You contribute to improving our processes and are given the opportunity to bring your own ideas to the table from an early stage

• Higher professional or academic level of thinking and working
• Some prior experience is a plus
• Excellent writing skills in Dutch; English is a plus
• Strong ability to analyse complex tender documentation and break down questions into underlying client needs
• A persuasive communicator who builds support and connects at all levels
• Organisationally strong: you successfully manage multiple processes simultaneously
• Decisive: you take the lead on difficult decisions and communicate them clearly
• Resilient under pressure: you maintain overview and composure, even when deadlines are tight
• Commercially aware and able to translate opportunities into winning propositions
• An interest in and affinity with the thinking of Patrick Lencioni (or the motivation to explore this further)
