The quality of our services is safeguarded through streamlined processes. To ensure these remain aligned with evolving practices and legislation, we regularly undergo independent quality audits.
In addition, we are a certified member of Bovib. This trade association for intermediaries and brokers represents its members within the flexible labour market and continuously works to improve service quality. Through our involvement with Bovib, we stay well informed about current developments.

Certificates & Approvals
Hero holds the ISO 9001:2015 certificate – the most widely recognised international standard for quality management systems. This certification demonstrates our reliability and is based on four key pillars:
- Customer focus
- Engagement of employees and top management
- Process approach
- Effective relationship management
ISO 14001 sets the requirements for an effective environmental management system. It enables organisations to systematically identify, prioritise, control and improve environmental aspects. By obtaining this certificate, Hero demonstrates strong insight into environmental risks and opportunities, and contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainable entrepreneurship.
ISO 27001 is the international standard that defines the requirements for an Information Security Management System (ISMS). It provides a structured approach to identifying, prioritising and managing information security risks and continuously improving them. With this certification, Hero demonstrates strong control over information security and the careful handling of confidential customer and partner data.
The Bovib hallmark was created to enable service providers and their clients to assess and guarantee the quality of services within the intermediary and broker market. Key objectives of the hallmark are:
- Reducing the risk of financial and tax liability
- Ensuring high-quality service
- Applying risk-based thinking in processes
Acknowledgements
The Top 250 Growth Companies list is based on the ScaleUp Dashboard of the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) and the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship (ECE), in collaboration with nlgroeit. The list provides an overview of the Netherlands’ most successful growth companies. Hero has been included in this Top 250 since 2018.
The FD Gazellen Awards are presented by Het Financieele Dagblad to the fastest-growing companies in the Netherlands.
The main eligibility criterion is revenue growth of at least 20% over a three-year period.
Hero has received the FD Gazellen Award every year since 2015.
Based on the realised turnover of major flex companies in the Netherlands, the Flexmarkt Top 100 is published annually by Flexmarkt, part of VMN media.
Hero has been included in this Top 100 since 2019.
