That tastes like more
Especially in these times, when there still seems to be very little entertainment possible, we find our challenge in organising events that can. A good example is the Hero wine tasting that took place last week, under the guidance of top sommelier Koen van der Plas.
Together with some relations (and their partners), we were able to enjoy some very special wines and cheeses selected by Koen van der Plas in a small setting (online, admittedly). His wine and food box generated a lot of enthusiasm among all participants. Koen became sommelier of the year in 2019 & 2020 and has been head sommelier of the 3 Michelin-starred restaurant Inter Scaldes for eight years. His stories and background information on artisanal products contributed nicely to this experience.
Guest speaker Rick Franx also made his contribution; in the turbulent and restrictive Corona era, this entrepreneur pur sang precisely managed to seize his opportunities by selling mouth caps and flourished like never before. A particularly inspiring story from a very driven and likeable personality.

We noticed and experienced that this first edition provided a lot of satisfaction and fun. Not only with us, but with all attendees. And that is exactly what we were hoping for. That is why we intend to organise this more often, so that other relations of ours can also enjoy it. Because this tastes genuinely - literally and figuratively - like more .....
